Amino acids as contaminants
We offer different methods for determination of amino acids as contaminants. If the customer doesn’t order explicitly another method, we will analyze all products using the most reliable GC-MS method (A785) for all products.

Semi quantitative determination via GC-FID
(Order code: A445, SOP: A.0.6.)
+ fast screening
- useful only for amino acids and some derivatives free of contaminations
- not useful for Histidine(derivatives)
- not all amino acids will be determined
Quantitative determination via GC-FID
by Enantiomerlabeling (A47X, SOP: A.0.6.1.)
+ determination of all proteinogenic amino acids
- useful only for amino acids and some derivatives free of contaminations after determination of enantiomeric purity via GC-FID
- analysis time min. seven working days
- not useful for Histidine(derivatives)
Quantitative determination via GC-MS
by Enantiomerlabeling (A785, SOP: A.0.6.3.)
+ precise and fast determination of all proteinogenic amino acids
+ high reliability due to the selectivity of the mass selective detection even for contaminated samples.
